peace
this is me arriving at the O to form the peace sign. try to spot me haha
highway collapse
no people hurt. but you can’t even imagine the traffic chaos for the next month or so. this is the main artery towards san francisco and pretty close to my house.
impeach now!
so i did it. me and 1000 other people. gathered around ocean beach in san francisco on this gorgeous morning and lay on the floor to spell out in giant letters IMPEACH NOW! so the cool thing is that i was sitting on the right side of the letter M, and at a certain point we all stood up, waved at the helicopters and we morphed the letters into PEACE NOW! where the letter O became the peace symbol.
to do this, me and the other guys who were on our side of the M, had to run through the beach to the cheers and applause of everyone who doesn’t agree with this administration, and we run all the way to the letter O to lie down again there and form the peace sign.
some photos and videos to follow. what an unforgettable experience.
displace me!
this coming saturday april 28th there will be a massive DISPLACE ME event across the US with one right here in san francisco.
the whole premise is to raise awareness for the displacement camps of northern uganda. you’re supposed to bring just salt crackers, water, sleeping bag, cardboard box and art supplies. you check in at 3pm at cow palace, and through the rest of the day build a “tent” out of your cardboard box, paint it however you want and sleep in it for one night. there will be testimonies and talk from uganda refugees and lots of other things.
you give away the crackers and the water when u go in, and they will be distributed in the evening back to you, just like a normal camp.
you can download the whole program and info online:

air
now that’s what i say about stress relief. there’s no better feeling than knowing that the movie is pretty much completed, that there are no more working saturdays and that there’s a bouncie castle in your life.
yes, that’s true. i went to see air live at the masonic auditorium and they were great as usual. third time i’ve seen them live and still great. i wish i would be at coachella this weekend as originally planned and watch them in the desert at sunset, but i had to sell my tickets for impending work schedules that just so happens didn’t occur.
well, it’s all good either way. i’m still seeing most of the acts that i was going to see at coachella as they’ll b coming here to san francisco. thanks to sonicliving.com i can keep track of all this.
and speaking of which, so after the concert, sonicliving organized this guestlist only event at an art gallery downtown. as san francisco goes, a lot of galleries become great little alternative bars at night. this one no exception, but in true spirit as soon as i got in i had to sign a disclaimer form making sure i wouldn’t sue the owners if i got hurt. why? they had a giant bouncie castle, where after taking ur shoes off you could bounce around way high up in the air with your friends.
it was insane. seriously. open bar till 2am, great djs, great people, dancing non-stop and bouncing like crazy inside a bouncie castle. what more could i ever ask for on a wednesday night?
