legs. this day was all about legs. i spent the whole day eating, drinking, dancing and walking around with two good friends of mine… and some legs. we found these abandoned manequin legs on the street and i decided to pick them up. we took these legs everywhere, to every single coffee shop, bar and park we set foot at.

quickie
here’s a quickie of my weekend. cars still number one. the dead hensons played at pixar, amazing fun. they only play muppet show songs. it was hilarious. then sausalito with friends at night. great views. summer is here. saturday. world cup games. then swam three miles. THREE MILES! yes, new record. 3 mi = 4.8km. watched a great movie. 10 things you know just by looking at her. sunday. world cup. north beach festival. tainted love playing. most fun i have had in a long time. they only play 80s music: violent femmes, cure, depece mode, clash, bowie, pixies, everything i grew up with and that i love. sun. people. grass. everything. i couldn’t stop dancing and singing. it was insanely great.

the opening
not bad. lower that what i was hoping for, but it’s still our third best opening weekend ever. and most of the school kids are not on holidays yet, so it promises to keep the momentum going the rest of the summer.
it’s interesting as most critics have been having mixed reactions, but the audience (even the people who were doubting the movie) are absolutely loving it.
i sat at a theater on friday night. people laughed. people clapped. people actually cried.
it was a good feeling.
